HOW TO PLAY

1. Launch potion by left clicking on the potion and then moving the mouse, when you release the left click the potion will launch.

2. Explode the potion by clicking left mouse button while the potion is in the air.

WIZARD WITH A POTION LAUNCHER

Wizard with a Potion Launcher is an angry birds-type game where you launch potions you crafted at shadow cultist structures to destroy them and the cultists. The wizard is fueled by grief. Discover their story and see how they learn to accept the past.

MECHANICS:

There are two main mechanics:

1. Crafting potions using a UI menu. Different ingredients yield different results!

2. Launching potions with a potion launcher, then clicking to explode them when they are near enemy structures.

CONTROLS:

The game is fully controlled by the mouse, with the right click doing all the actions. You can restart a level by pressing "r".

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was not able to implement controller support.

STORY:

The story is about grieving after a loss and how we, as humans, often react to bad things happening around us in unhealthy ways. The story delves into the topic of forgiving yourself.

Also, practically all of the story is told through imagery, as I wanted to avoid walls of text in order to create an atmosphere of shadowy mystery. Unfortunately I didn't have time to implement all the levels, so no story tidbits inbetween the levels. If you want, go to the GDD and scroll down to the story section, I put there all the story assets that are missing.


MUSIC AND SFX:

There is no sound in the game, didn't have time to implement it. ;( While playing the game please listen to track "Waywand Wanderer" from the album "Wanderlore" by Deep Gnome.
